When a city’s main park has the advantage of hosting not one, but two world expositions, that city’s residents are twice blessed. San Diego’s founders had the foresight to designate an area larger than New York’s Central Park to be preserved for its people to enjoy the arts, recreation, museums, open space — and all their inherent beauties — forever.
